The Malpas is one of the newest additions to North Cyprus, set landscaped gardens on the foothills of the Five Finger Mountains close to the small village of Catalkoy. The town centre of Kyrenia is approx. 10 mins drive from the hotel.

We offer JUNIOR SUITES which are larger than our SUPERIOR ROOMS to give you more space. They offer a seating area for your comfort.

We have rooms avaliable in our annex - Diamond Court. It is just a short walk to the main hotel building and is near the fantastic swimming-pool.

When her husband King Jacques II died, Caterina Cornaro was appointed queen until the birth of an heir, which was shortly expected, and the management of affairs was entrusted to a council of regency among whom were the uncles of the queen. Her son King Jacques III, was born in August 1473, but only lived one year. The Venetians, who were already numerous and powerful on the island, acquired increased importance from the fact that the sovereign was a Venetian and adopted daughter of the republic.
