Explore Jordan with an adventurous spirit mixing luxury hotels with simple desert camps and lodges. Take your time and explore Jordan’s varied landscape from its vast nature reserves to its magnificent deserts while taking in all its major historical sights.
Day 1 : UK / Amman
Fly from London to Amman where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for 2 nts stay.
Day 2 : Amman / Um Qasis / Ajlun / Jerash / Amman
After breakfast depart for Um Qasis, a city rich with basalt close to Golan Heights and Lake Tiberius. After lunch visit the village of Ajlun with its fortress and magnificent view. Next head to Jerash; one of the most preserved Graeco-Roman cities in the Middle East and return to your hotel in Amman.
Day 3 : Amman / City Tour / Dead Sea
After breakfast a morning city tour of Amman to visit the ruins of the Amman amphitheatre, the citadel and the Umayyad Palace then head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth, for 1 night. The afternoon at leisure at the lowest point on earth.
Day 4 : Dead Sea / Wadi Mujib Reserve
Morning at leisure. Transfer to the Wadi Mujib Nature Reserve. Guided hiking tour. Overnight.
Day 5 : Wadi Mujib / Madaba / Mt. Nebo / Kerak / Dana
Morning departure south through the King’s Highway. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba ‘The City of Mosaics’ and visit Mount Nebo, the site of the endearing monastery. Proceed to Kerak through Wadi Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan’s most breathtaking views. Visit the Kerak castle with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. Continue to Dana. Overnight at the reserve.
Day 6 : Dana / Petra
In the Morning there is a guided hiking tour at the reserve. Transfer to Petra for 2 nts stay.
Day 7 : Petra
After breakfast, visit the ancient Nabatean Capital followed by a walk through the Siq. You will then gradually discover the mysteries of the Red Rose City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. Return to hotel.
Day 8 : Petra / Beida / Wadi Rum
After breakfast visit Beida, known as little Petra. Next head south to the Wadi desert for a jeep tour until sunset. Enjoy the views while drinking a cup of Bedouin tea and proceed to the campsite inside the desert. Traditional Bedouin dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 9 : Wadi Rum / Amman
Day 10 : Amman / UK
Breakfast followed by morning transfer to Amman airport for return flight to London Heathrow.

The Dana Guesthouse is approx. 50 kms north of Petra and about 2½ hrs drive from both Amman and Aqaba. The guest house is run by Bedouins under the direction of Jordan's Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN).

This is a stupendous, timeless place, virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Here, it is the weather and winds that have carved the imposing, towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence.
A maze of monolithic rocks capes rise up from the desert floor to heights of 1,750m creating a natural challenge for serious mountaineers. Hikers can enjoy the tranquility of the boundless empty spaces and explore the canyons and water holes to discover 4000-year-old rock drawings and the many other spectacular treasures this vast wilderness holds in store.
Wadi Mujib Lodge
Wadi Mujib gorge in Jordan enters the Dead Sea at 410 meters below sea level. The Mujib Reserve is the lowest nature reserve in the world and is approx. 90 km from Amman. The Lodge is run by Wild Jordan, the commercial offshoot of the RSCN (Royal Society for Conservation of Nature).
Flights are based on economy class seats with Royal Jordanian operating daily flights from London Heathrow to Amman. There are pre-departure facilities such as online check-in.
